About the Role
This is a senior operational role with responsibility for leading frontline housing services across a defined area. You’ll oversee tenancy management, ASB enforcement, arrears recovery, allocations, estate services, safeguarding activity and multi‑agency casework.
You’ll support and guide Housing Officers and Assistant Housing Officers, ensuring consistent standards, effective decision‑making and high‑quality service delivery. You’ll also monitor performance, analyse trends, and drive improvements that support safe, secure and well‑managed communities all the while managing your own small patch.
The role offers the opportunity to shape service quality, influence practice, and lead a team delivering meaningful outcomes for tenants.
Who We're Looking for
We’re looking for a confident leader with strong housing knowledge, excellent judgement and the ability to manage complex and high‑risk situations. You’ll bring experience in tenancy enforcement, legal processes, multi‑agency working and performance management.
You’ll be skilled at supporting staff, allocating workloads, coaching colleagues and maintaining high standards across the team. Strong communication skills, resilience and a calm, professional approach are essential.
If you’re someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to make a positive impact across our communities, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior position.
