Housing Management
Our Housing Management service sits at the heart of what we do at Williamsburgh Housing Association. We work closely with tenants to provide safe, well‑managed homes and to support people to sustain their tenancies and feel proud of where they live.
The service is led by Sharon Vernal, Head of Housing & Communities, and supported by Housing Manager Louise McDonald. The team works across our neighbourhoods to deliver high‑quality housing services, support and community engagement.
Our Housing Management Teams
Our Housing Management service is made up of dedicated teams who work together to support tenants and communities.
Rents Team
Led by Louise McDonald, the Rents Team supports tenants with rent accounts, payment options and arrears prevention. The team works proactively with tenants to provide early support and minimise financial difficulties wherever possible.
Tenancy Team
The Tenancy Team supports tenants throughout their tenancy, from moving into a new home to managing ongoing tenancy and neighbourhood matters. This includes addressing tenancy issues and supporting tenants who may be experiencing antisocial behaviour.
Factoring & Allocations Team
Led by Sam McNealey, the Factoring & Allocations Team manages the allocation of homes and factoring services, helping to ensure our properties and shared areas are well maintained and effectively managed.
Tenant Participation
Tenant Participation is central to how we work. We are committed to ensuring tenants are at the heart of decision‑making and that your views help shape our services and communities.
There are many ways tenants can get involved, including:
- Resident and community groups
- Consultations and surveys

Community Regeneration
Housing Management works closely with tenants, partners and internal teams to support positive community regeneration and neighbourhood improvement. This includes identifying local priorities, supporting community‑led activity and helping tenants influence improvements in the places where they live.
Our community regeneration work links closely with Tenant Participation and Financial Wellbeing to help:
- Strengthen local communities
- Improve neighbourhood pride and wellbeing
- Support inclusive, sustainable communities
Benefits Advice & Financial Wellbeing
Our Benefits Advice and Financial Wellbeing service, led by Kamilla Feddek, provides support to help tenants stay financially secure and sustain their tenancy.
Support includes:
