Auld Friends Group
_2026_06_01_09_27_05.jpg)
Our Auld Friends Group brings people together in a relaxed and friendly setting to enjoy a catch-up, share stories, and take part in a range of activities.
The group was created to help build connections, reduce isolation, and give people something to look forward to in a welcoming environment.
We’re also delighted to have secured funding through the Renfrewshire Council Winter Connections Grant, which allows us to provide warm drinks and light refreshments at each session.
Who is it for?
Auld Friends is open to tenants who would enjoy:
- Meeting new people
- Socialising in a friendly group
- Taking part in light activities and sessions
Despite the name, “Auld” is just a name – you don’t need to be a certain age to come along! Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been before or are thinking about joining for the first time.
When do we meet?
We meet a few times a month, midweek 1pm - 3pm with sessions that have included:
- Guest speakers and talks
- Local history sessions
- Visits and themed activities
- Informal get-togethers
You can view recent and upcoming sessions on this page.
How to get involved?
