The Management Committee has approved a rent increase of 8.5%, following consultation with tenants. This increase is essential to allow us to continue investing in your homes and communities, while maintaining the services we provide.

All tenants should now have received a letter confirming your new rent charge from 28 March 2026.

What You Need to Do

If you pay by Housing Benefit

You do not need to take any action.
If your circumstances have changed, please call 0300 300 0204.

If you pay by Universal Credit

Please update your housing costs on your UC journal on Saturday 28 March 2026.
If you have a telephone claim, call 0800 328 5644 on Monday 30 March 2026 to report your new rent.
You will need your rent letter when calling.

If you pay by Direct Debit

You will receive a letter or email in March confirming your new Direct Debit amount.

If you have a payment arrangement with us

Please increase your payments to include the new rent amount.

Help with Paying Your Rent

You may be entitled to Universal Credit or Housing Benefit to help with your rent. We can also support you with affordable payment arrangements.
