Auld Friends Weekly Group – Burns Theme!

This week our Auld Friends group enjoyed a wonderful Burns-themed session. We listened to some much‑loved Robert Burns poems and watched a short video about his life and legacy.

After celebrating a bit of Scottish history, our friend Albert shared stories about his home country, the Netherlands, which everyone really enjoyed!

Thanks to the Renfrewshire Council Winter Connections Grant, we were able to offer a lovely selection of food along with hot and cold drinks. Each member also went home with a handmade gift bag containing a Burns poem and some delicious shortbread.
