Auld Friends enjoy a special afternoon with singer Kirsty Duncan
Our Auld Friends group enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of live music on Wednesday 26 March, with a special performance from well‑known local singer Kirsty Duncan.
Kirsty, who is loved across Renfrewshire for her warm personality and powerful voice, brought a brilliant mix of classic favourites and sing‑along tunes that had the whole room smiling. Her energy, kindness and ability to get everyone involved made the afternoon feel truly special.
Alongside the entertainment, Kamila also delivered a short energy awareness session, sharing helpful advice and tips with the group. This gave members the opportunity to learn more about managing energy use and where to find support, while still enjoying a relaxed and social afternoon together.
The group enjoyed plenty of laughter, chatting and toe‑tapping as they relaxed together in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Events like this are a big part of what makes the Auld Friends group so important – creating opportunities for connection, reducing isolation and offering memorable shared experiences.
A huge thank you to Kirsty Duncan for giving up her time and sharing her talent with us.
