Heating and hot water issues

Our gas contractor is extremely busy due to the cold weather - A lot of our tenants are having issues with their heating and hot water. To speed up the process we would like to ask our tenants before calling to report a fault, have you tried these steps?

  • Is there sufficient gas credit available and is the meter display showing ON

  • Are heating controls on and is the room thermostat turned up

  • Is there a battery symbol showing on any RF controls

  • Is the boiler gurgling or noisuy during operation, this may indicate a frozen condensate pipe

  • Any fault codes displayed on the boiler
