Domestic Abuse - Dont Suffer in Silence

Domestic Abuse don’t suffer in silence!

With a 25% increase in calls to the National Domestic Abuse helpline since lockdown began on the 23rd March we feel it is important to let our tenants know where they can help if they need it.

Boots the chemist is reoffering a safe space for Victims of Domestic Abuse

Victims can now visit their nearest Boots pharmacy and use their safe space consultation room to have access to a 24-hour national domestic abuse helpline, the men’s advice line and phone numbers for services specific to Scotland.

Not a victim but are concerned about someone ?

Crimestoppers Scotland recently launched a new campaign across the country appealing for information from people who are aware of domestic abuse happening to friends, family, work colleagues or neighbours. Domestic abuse can be physical, psychological, emotional, sexual or financial.

The charity said neighbours, family and friends may be suspicious, but are often reluctant to get involved because of embarrassment, split loyalties or fear of revenge.

If you have concerns about someone please contact Crimestoppers’ UK Contact Centre 24/7 on free phone 0800 555 111 or visit  and fill in a simple and secure anonymous online form.
